Stucco Problems We Repair
Small cracks can be patched. Larger damage needs the failed stucco cut out, the wall behind it checked and the area rebuilt coat by coat. We tell you which one your wall needs before any work starts.
Cracks
Hairline and settlement cracks opened up, filled and refinished so they don’t keep spreading.
Holes & Impact Damage
Damaged sections cut back to sound stucco and rebuilt with lath, scratch, brown and finish coats.
Water Damage
Wet sheathing and rotted framing found and replaced before new stucco goes on.
Flashing & Trim Leaks
Leaks at windows, doors, roof lines and decks sealed and flashed so water stays out.
Texture & Color Matching
Patches finished to match the existing texture and color as closely as possible.
Foundation Stucco (Parging)
Crumbling or flaking parging on foundation walls removed and replaced.
How We Repair Stucco
Every repair follows the same steps, so the patch lasts as long as the wall around it.
Inspect
We look at the damage, check for moisture and find where the water is coming from.
Remove
Failed stucco is cut back to solid material, and any wet or rotted sheathing is replaced.
Rebuild
New weather barrier, lath and stucco coats go on, with each coat allowed to cure.
Finish
The finish coat is textured and colored to blend with the rest of the wall.
Frequently Asked Questions
Don’t see your question?
(267) 371-7321
01
Can you match my existing stucco?
In most cases, yes. We match the texture by hand and the color as closely as the existing finish allows. Older or faded stucco may need a coat of breathable stucco paint over the wall so the repair blends in completely.
02
Is a small stucco crack a problem?
Hairline cracks are common and usually cosmetic, but they can let water in over time. Wide cracks, cracks with staining below them, or stucco that sounds hollow when tapped should be looked at.
03
Do you repair stucco on commercial buildings?
Yes. We repair stucco on homes and commercial buildings throughout Bucks, Montgomery, Lehigh and Northampton Counties.
04
Do you also install new stucco?
Yes. See our stucco services page for new installation, remediation and finishes.
